Here are some answers to frequently asked questions by participants of The Road to Copenhagen.

I am participating in the first shift and I start in Amsterdam: where do I report myself?
Please report yourself Tuesday 1 December at the Stay Okay Vondelpark hotel in Amsterdam at 8h00. (So please do not go to ‘Bethaniënklooster’, as was published accidently on some R2C profile sites.)

How do I get to the ‘prologue’ hotels?

Stayokay Hostel Vondelpark Amsterdam

How do I recognize the R2C buses in Düsseldorf, Utrecht and Kolding (shifts 2 and 3)?
These buses are white, and have the name ‘Besseling’ on them. Or look for a R2C/Road to Copenhagen sign in the front window.

Where are the hotels in Düsseldorf (shift 3), Utrecht (shift 3) and Kolding (shift 2)
We will publish details on these hotels later. 

What do I have to bring along?
Thermo underwear, thermo t-shirt, warm socks, winter coat, gloves, shawl and hat, toiletries (gel, deodorant, etc), bath towels, passport or identity card, driver’s licence or scooter permit and (health) insurance card.

How many luggage can I take?
Please take a carryall or backpack.

How will my luggage be transferred from place to place?
This will be done by the organisation. You will not have to bring your luggage on the electric scooter.

What will I be provided with by the R2C organisation?
Safety smock, rainwear (rainproof suit), scooter helmet, food, drinks and a place to sleep!

Will it be cold when we are driving our scooters?
Yes! It may freeze when we are on our scooters. Dress appropriately!

How do I stay in touch with home and friends?
There will be laptops with internet connection available to you at all our hotels.
